In this article, I have compiled a list of the AI tools that I personally use to organize my schoolwork. These tools have enabled me to write more efficiently, learn quicker, and save significant amounts of time.
So,
without wasting anytime, let's get started!
But
Wait. What is AI and What Are Chatbots?
Let's
just take a quick moment to explain what AI and chatbots are before we start.
Artificial
Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science that enables machines to
decide for themselves — without the assistance of humans. It's similar to
giving a brain to a machine so it can think and act wisely.
Chatbots
are the applications of AI. Imagine them as virtual assistants or robots you
can talk with — similar to speaking to a helpful machine that knows and answers
your queries.
Sharing Personal
Experience with AI Tools for Students
1. OpenAI's
ChatGPT (For Writing and Creativity)
I
mostly use ChatGPT for:
- Practicing creative writing in English topics such as letters to the editor, email composition, and articles.
- Generating customised MCQs for exam practice.
- Clarifying difficult concepts I didn't understand in school or tuition (such as "Refractive Index" in Physics).
- Practicing and enhancing my long answers to Class 10 standards.
- Improving my spoken English by constant chat practice.
- Collecting current news in real-time for school morning assembly.
- Creating lovely images for projects (check out the one I made below!).
Fun Fact: ChatGPT can even converse with you in Hinglish!
2. Grammarly (For
Grammar and Writing Clarity)
This
is one tool that I use daily. Grammarly:
- Correct grammar and spelling errors in my writing.
- Makes my writing look nicer and more professional.
- Comes in particularly handy when I'm talking with AI or typing in English.
If
you're having problems with English grammar, this tool is a vardaan for you.
3. Grok.com
By the way you can use it as an alternative for ChatGPT if you like a bhai like conversation...
You can also use it to generate beautiful and realistic images
3. Claude.ai (For
Coding and Report Writing)
Claude
is a great chatbot if you are doing:
- Programming: For showing you the capabilities of this chatbots in this matter I have created a sample tic-tac-toe game.
If you have AI as a subject, then this can help you complete the practical assignments (I have used it).
- School
projects – You
can generate full write-ups for your project in minutes.
But here’s a
tip: Don’t overuse it.
Try using your own ideas first. I only used Claude when I was short on time and
needed to submit something quickly.
⚠️ Advice: Avoid using Claude for
huge programs (over 1400 lines of code) — it may not handle them well.
4. DeepSeek (For
Maths and Science)
This
application is particularly effective in solving:
- Advanced math questions
- Science questions
If
you're stuck with numerical problems, DeepSeek can walk you through the
solution step by step logically. By the way, their Deep think feature is really
mighty.
Key Points:
- Do not ask political questions to DeepSeek since it is made in China and might not answer appropriately or correctly on such matters.
- These AI tools are not trustworthy for solving geometry problems. Even if they try to solve them, the solutions are usually incorrect.
- Never give sensitive or personal information to any AI tool or chatbot. Always keep your privacy and safety in mind while using these platforms.

Do You Think?
Have
you ever employed any of these AI tools for studying? Which of them was most
useful to you — ChatGPT, Grammarly, Claude, or DeepSeek?
Or
are you aware of any other AI tools that can assist students like us?
